Question:

well in my garden under the pavement there is a whole and they come out when anything taps or that. + because it's warm, theyve covered like a quarter of the pavement. & i treid boiling water from the kettle and bleach but they still seem to be moving but slower? Do i need to do it more or what? &how do i get rid of the nest (i think that's under the pavement)

Answer:

To get rid of them, you have to destroy the queen ant. Powders only kill the worker ants and the queen will just clone some more. Get some borax based ant killer from the garden centre. This comes as a gel in a tube or in plastic traps. The ants take this back to the nest and it destroys the whole colony.
